To my beautiful Norah,
You are the sunshine in my day.
Introducing the lovely Haley and the most adorable little side-kick, her son, Tristan. This hard working, single mama has blessed me with her redemption story and I have the highest honor of sharing it with you today. Haley's desire is that her journey would be an encouragement to you as you keep walking forward in your own story. So without further ado, here's Haley...
Meet Josh. Josh developed a speech impediment as a child and as a result, did not speak to anyone until he was twenty-two years old. His story will impact you greatly! Read below and be sure to watch the 3 minute video of Josh and his family at the bottom of the page. It is an honor to welcome my brave and vulnerable friend, Josh, to the blog today...
Meet Trevor. Trevor is the owner of a local artisan pasta company by the name of Trevioli, located in Columbus, GA. Known for its modest atmosphere, quality fresh ingredients, and their reasonable prices, Trevioli's is one of Columbus' best kept secrets. I've recently had the honor of becoming acquainted with Trevor and his sweet wife, Brandi, and I can tell you that beyond their remarkable ability and talent to create deliciously authentic cusine, is a couple who is driven by a passionate heart and strong conviction to serve you only the best. This road was a long, hard passage...but one that led to this dream unfolding. Hear his story. Here's Trevor.
Meet Heather. It is such an honor to introduce you to this girl. She captivated me long ago with her bright personality, her whimsical art and her love for beauty. Heather was diagnosed with Autism last year, a disorder that affects 1 in 68 and is on the rise. A disorder that is often misunderstood, belittled and teased. But for Heather, she has found meaning and purpose in it all. She sees its beauty and potential. She shares her story so that you may find your voice, your place, your worth. Here's Heather.
Friends, I have a pretty special guest to welcome today. He's quite fantastic, quite strapping. His name is Grant, my better-half, my stud. That's right. I finally coaxed him into writing a piece for my space here, lucky you. Recently, we were having a conversation about social media and its woes. The troubling insecurity it so often inflicts and our deep need for validation and worth that we search for within it. Grant has some thoughts on all this and writes to leave you with some things to consider and chew on. So without further ado, here's Grant.
